New Church Dresses

Sadie got a beautiful new dress for her birthday and we thought it was time for Carlie to get a new one as well. They both have a TON of dresses...but, like all little girls I guess, they seem to fall in love with just one and wear it to death..Sunday after Sunday after Sunday! No matter what mom does to bribe them to wear something else....they win in the end, because as most of you know, getting to church is hard enough without fighting over what to wear. Luckily...these are new, but will be worn to death...just like the last ones.

Sadie's 5th Birthday Party....part two (family party)

So about an hour after the friend party....we had the family party. Can't get enough Avengers apparently. We had grandma, Aunt Rachelle, cousins Michael, Whitney, and Chase come to celebrate.

 The much anticipated Avenger cake
Aunt Tami got her a Play Dough princess set....despite what she might say...she still likes princesses
Aunt Rachelle gave her...not sure what they're called...but you make designs out of beads and iron them together. She loves art stuff so this will be fun to do during the long winter.
Grandma and Grandpa King gave her Captain America and some lipgloss...she was in heaven

Mom and Dad gave her Hulk and a bigger Captain America...never thought I would be giving my daughter the Hulk! HAHAHA!
Grandma B. gave her this beautiful new Sunday dress...can't wait to see her in it

Sadie's 5th Birthday Party....part one

Sadie had her first friend birthday party this year and she was SOOO excited. She has been talking about it all summer long. I think the wait was worth it, she had a lot of fun with her friends and mom will have a hard time topping this one....this one took all her creative juices.  Here are a few pictures...

My friend Kim did the cupcakes for the party. I don't know how to work with fondant...but I do know how to do hair so it was a great trade! Thanks Kim...they were perfect.

The kids made Captain America shield as they were arriving...this turned out to be the biggest hit of the party....what you can do with a paper plate!

Aubrie was enjoying the party too!

All the little Captain America's! After they were done decorating their shields we went out front and let them "fight" with silly string....always a hit with kids
A little variation on pin the tail on the donkey....Pin the star on the shield.

Looks like Gabby won!

She got a lot of fun things...a good mixture of Avenger stuff and girl stuff. Thanks to all her friends!

We ended with the Pinata and cupcakes. I don't know if the kids were worn out...but mom and dad sure were. I'm glad the parties will be an every other year thing. Phew!

Avengers unite..........it's party time!!!

So Sadie has traded in Princesses, for now, for Super Heroes.  Pretty sure it's due to the fact that there is more neighborhood boys on our street than girls. So for her birthday party I made the following invitation to give to her friends that will be joining the party.

Note: The Superheroes (except for the small one to the lower left of Captain America) and logo were not created by me.  Track those down on the web and worked a little magic to blend them together.

Halloween!

Halloween was SOOO much fun this year. I think the girls are at that perfect age where every little thing about the holiday is exciting and fun. We started out on Sunday making sugar cookies and carving pumpkins and then Wednesday it was off trick or treating. Sadie insisted on being Captain America this year - she is no longer my little princess! And Carlie of course, was Merida from Brave. Aubrie was our little strawberry and couldn't have been cuter!

 Enjoying the cookies!
Grandma, Aunt Tami, and Cousin Russell and Natalie were there to help.
I'm not sure Carlie has enough frosting!
Cute girls with their cute pumpkins
Avenger Captain America (yes, that is my little Sadie under there!!)
A little strawberry I would love to nibble on
We stopped at our sitter Courtney's house trick or treating...they LOVE Courtney and we do too! Best babysitter EVER!
Our little Merida....she was quite a hit this year. She got a lot of attention and was loving every minute of it...she kept saying to me. "Mommy...why does everybody love me so much?"

Aubrie's 4 Month Stats

Obviously I'm a little late getting these stats out...she's almost 5 months in this picture...and she has chunked out quite a bit! Aubrie is such a fun little girl, she is a great baby and I'm enjoying every minute of it!
Weight: 14.75 lbs (59%)
Length - 25 (69%)
By far my smallest baby - but she is catching up quickly!
