Easter Dresses!

The girls got to wear their Easter dresses a week early this year because General Conference falls on Easter Sunday. It was fun getting them all dressed up and they both looked adorable.

Best of friends! (most of the time)

Carlie's 7 Month Stats!

Weight - 19.22 lbs (86.51%)
Length - 27 in (72.41%)
Head - 17.5 in (86.14 %)

You can see that we were a little late getting to Carlie's 6 month well check up. Her and her sister actually came down with colds about the time of her appointment so we had to postpone it. Sadie just had a bad cold but unfortunately Carlie had RSV. I didn't panic because Sadie had RSV when she was about 3 months old and other than the annoying breathing treatments you had to do every 2 hours - she pulled through and everything was fine. Well, Carlie did amazingly well. She didn't have to have breathing treatments and she pulled through quickly. In Dr. Later's words...."It's because she is such a sturdy kid!!!" HAHAHA! He is correct - sturdy is the best way to describe her. We were blessed that she recovered so quickly.

Carlie is growing up so fast, I just want time to slow down so I can enjoy every stage she enters. She is the happiest kid I know and such an easy baby. She has her quirks that throw her dad and I for a loop at times but for the most part she is the best. Her latest quirk was the fact that I couldn't get her to eat solids. At 6 months we introduced cereal to her and she HATED it. Hate wasn't even the word, she would gag just by seeing the spoon come near her mouth. I decided to try veggies....same thing. I tried fruit....same thing. I was not used to this considering Sadie ate everything. We fed her cereal through a bottle for awhile and then one day Mike decided to try it with a spoon again and she ate it! I guess she just wasn't ready. Now she LOVES her cereal, you can't shovel it in fast enough. She still isn't a fan of fruit, but she loves carrots and sweet potatoes. I'm glad she has finally started eating because I had this vision of her cute little fat rolls slowly dwindling away, and we love her rolls!
