6 Month Stats!

Sadie had her 6 month well baby check today. She had 4 shots which was traumatic for her and mom.
Here are her statistics:

Weight - 18 pounds 4 oz (77 percentile)

Height - 27.2 inches (80 percentile)

So, pretty much she is a little chubbier than average and a little taller than average. The doctor said she is doing well!

She started veggies this week and so far has had sweet potatoes and carrots. She ate them both very well, but I dare say she liked the carrots a little more. Such exciting times in her little life!

November 11, 2007 Time Warp to May 2008

So, we are going to try and pack 6 months into this post. We thought 6 months was long enough. Here goes nothing....

This is Sadie's first bath. As you can see she is thoroughly enjoying it. It is tradition for Grandma to give the grandkids their first bath. Thank you Grandma B! Sadie didn't start enjoying her baths until she was 2 months old. Now, it's her favorite thing.

Christmas 2007
Mike's parents came out for Christmas. This was their first time seeing Sadie. They got to spend time with her for 2 weeks and enjoyed every minute of it. We were lucky to have them come out!

Blessing Day! Unfortunately this is one of the only pictures of Sadie in her blessing dress. Live and learn. She looked so beautiful and was the best girl all day. We had a lot of friends over to the house and she slept through all the festivities.
Dad did a beautiful job on the blessing. It was a day we will always remember.







Sadie got her first tooth when she was 2 1/2 months old! She was born with a bump on her gums but I refused to believe it was a tooth. Well, sure enough...it broke through. She is now almost 7 months and still...one tooth. She may never get another.

Follow the Prophet! We watched conference all day on Sunday but when President Monson spoke Sadie stopped and listened. Such a big spirit in such a tiny body!

Mike had his friend Jeremy Huff in town for about a week and they had a lot of fun together. This particular night was spent in covert operations with the neighborhood boys. I don't think our neighborhood will ever look at airsoft wars the same. We had a fun time visiting and we're glad they were able to spend time together.

This is Sadie on her 6 month birthday. What better way to celebrate than in her birthday suit! She was just beginning to master sitting up. Could her rolls be any cuter???
