Sadie testing out Mom's Shoes

This is the first video post with much room for improvement but it works for now. Already into Mom's shoes although she has been caught in my running shoes. For that matter, if there is a shoe...Sadie's foot will be in it. Guaranteed!

Pictures of Carlie

So Carlie is only 5 weeks old and already neglected. We have pictures of her but not a ton. Sadie however had a million pictures by this age. Now I know why I have no pictures of me as a kid....I'm the youngest. I TOTALLY understand now mom. HAHAHA! I'm going to try and do better but here are a few we did get.

I've caught her 3 times now sucking her thumb. It will be interesting to see if she turns out to be a thumb sucker. The poor thing had mits on her hands for the first few weeks of life because she kept scratching herself.....she may have just been trying to find her thumb!

So Sweet!

Carlie's Two Week Stats.....Late

These are a little late....only 3 weeks.

Head: 14.25 in (54%tile)
Weight: 8.22 lbs (44%tile)
Length: 20.85 in (69%tile)

Personality that packs a punch!

I know everyone brags about their kids...bla...bla...bla but I just have to say that it amazes me each and everyday how much personality Sadie packs. It truly is a blessing to have such a fun and happy girl in the house. She is quite the character who loves to sing and dance even though she sounds a little drunk while singing....hmmm...what is Nat putting in her sippy cup???

Sadie in B & W

It was a pretty hot weekend that kept us inside for the most part but Sunday the weather was much nicer so we decided to venture outside with the little ladies to enjoy the cooler weather. I got the chance to snap some pictures of Sadie and caught this shot. Very serious. For just $.50 a day you can feed this child.

Carlie's First Bath

Grandma B. came over to give Carlie her first bath. It is was so much fun to get her all cleaned up and smelling sweet. She cried a little bit but already has come to love bath time. The only part she hates is when you wash her face!

Bell Tower

Last Monday we all needed to get out of the house so Mike decided we should go up to the BYU Bell Tower and let Sadie feed the ducks and swim. It was a great idea! Mom and Carlie sat in the shade and relaxed while Dad and Sadie fed the ducks and played in the water. I believe that Sadie could spend a whole day there if we let her.....she had a blast. The best part is that she was worn out and ready for bed by the time we left.

This one was taken as we were getting ready to leave and had her wet clothes off.
Feeding the ducks!
This little duck got very daring and came close.
